Covid-19 Rule Updates

The Buckeye Junior Golf Tour is taking the following precautions to avoid the spread of COVID19. These guidelines are in place to protect our players, spectators and staff. Please read and follow these guidelines to the best of your ability:

• Please do not attend a tournament if you are sick or feeling unwell. This goes for all players and spectators.
• Practice good hygiene habits before, during and after your round. Washing your hands or using hand sanitizer as often as possible.
• Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.
• Please try to limit the amount of spectators if possible. All spectators will be asked not to congregate around the greens or in groups. Please maintain 6 ft from other spectators as you watch and consider walking ahead to help look for tee shots to keep good POP.
• Do not shake hands after the round or during the round.
• Try to avoid close proximity to other players and spectators at all times, 6 ft minimum.
• Do not remove the flagstick on the course and practice putting greens.
• Do not exchange scorecards with any other players throughout your rounds. Confirm scores as usual after each hole.
• There will be no registration. Please arrive at the first tee 10 minutes prior to your tee off. You will get your Membership gifts at the scoring table. They will be placed in baggies for you with your name on them.
• Try to practice appropriate social distancing when on the putting greens and driving ranges.
• Please do not exchange scorecards throughout the day or at the scoring area. Scores will be read out verbally and then attested by all scorers. Scorecards will be kept by BJGT staff afterwards.
• We recommend that everyone wear a face mask when entering a facility and during scoring.
